take me home tonite

When I got home from Mexico I unpacked, did laundry, & packed again. The next morning my family headed to Seabrook Island for my cousin Jennifer's wedding. It was on the beach & so beautiful. She's 38 & had never been married (dated a lot, but not the best caliber of guys if you know what I'm saying). I'm so so glad she finally met Jody & things worked out- I like him! I'm pretty sure they're gonna start trying to have kids almost right away so I'm looking forward to a new baby in the family, too.

The reception was awesome- open bar, crab dip, shrimp galore, pastas, etc. Mmmmm. I'm getting hungry already and it's like 7 something in the morning. ha. We all danced like crazy & had a blast. My cousin Brandon bet my mom & I that we wouldn't take the cook's hats & go dance. What was he thinking? Of course we did it.





That night my mom, dad, & sis & I drove to Hilton Head for our family vacation. The week was wonderful- it consisted of the beach, the pool, the beach, the pool, seafood, sleep, reading the Twilight series, & a fireworks show. My kind of week. We had so much fun!



On Thursday night, my sister & I drove to Charleston to see Underoath. I'd been excited about this show for a long time & thankfully a friend of mine had managed to get me on the guest list so I got to go for freeeeee. This was my 8th time seeing them, my 1st being years ago when they played with Coheed in Charlotte (random!).

The show was completely sick as always & I'm ready for another already. From where I was standing in the room I could see up in their glass window green room area. I'd watch them walk by & look down to see what was going on & check out the other bands. I also got to watch them pray before the show. They all got in a circle, put their arms around each other & prayed while all their fans chanted their name down below, oblivious to what was going on above. It was seriously the coolest thing ever.

I only took 1 video & then got thrown up in the air & lost my shot, but whatev...



Now I'm home, excited to be back at Midtown, hanging out with great people, about to close my real estate deal Monday afternoon, about to dance my butt off with my best friend tonite, loving life. GOD IS SO GOOD.
