i can't stop listening to taking back sunday lately. <3

also the other day my mom gave me this old baby calendar that she'd written on almost every day about me for the 1st year or 2 of my life. it was hilarious. my favorite entries:

"mellie brooke (yes, i used to go by a double name, ewww) has learned how to turn my radio on. she'll turn it on & turn it up & dance. she seems to like country/western music, but that little munchkin sure has rhythmn." haaaaaaaa. country/western!? gross. that is awesome.

"mellie brooke & i went to the park today with little andy laymen. mb tried to beat him up. she's a feisty little thing." well, there you go.

my mom was also telling me about how i used to "sexy dance" to the theme song for inspector gadget when it was coming on- "go gadget go" -her imitation was priceless. what i wouldn't give for an old video of that!
