i have the most incredible friends ever. yesterday was my birthday & my best friend offered to throw me a bday cook-out at her house. not only did she take the time to make the invitation & invite friends, but she opened her house to us, spent time cleaning, decorating beautifully, entertaining, etc. she's the best!

the party consisted of some of my close friends from all areas of my life- high school, college, masters program, real estate, movie sets, life group, concert buddies, etc. it was so cool to see my bffs all come together & celebrate & enjoy each other's company.

i made kristie have everyone go around & introduce themselves & tell how they met me. i love that patrick said "i met mellie at an r. kelly concert." ha! then we all told funny stories & embarrassing moments and literally laughed & bonded under the beautiful night sky for hours. it was the best birthday ever! we grilled & laughed & did sparklers & had cupcakes.

thanks to all the friends that took time to come out & celebrate. it means the world to me. God has blessed me more than i can even grasp or understand. He's surrounded me with people that love me & He loves me most of all. thanks for my life, God- i pray i use it to love & glorify you, love others & do Your will at all times. <3
