hope ever

The Lord stands between the years. The Light of His Presence is flung across the year to come. Backward, over the past year, is His Shadow thrown, hiding trouble and sorrow and disappointment.

Bury every fear of the future, of poverty, suffering, loss. Bury all thoughts of unkindness and bitterness, all your dislikes, your resentments, your sense of failure, your disappointment in others & yourself, your gloom, your despondency, and leave them all to go forward to a new and risen life.

Remember that you must not see as the world sees. He holds the year in His hands- in trust for us. He shall guide us one day at a time. Leave the rest with Him- don't anticipate the gift by fears or thoughts of the days ahead. Each day He will supply the wisdom and the strength so go forward unafraid, praising the One who loves you more than you'll ever know. The sunlight of His presence is on your path, so go. His grace is sufficient for all your needs. Hope on, Hope gladly, Hope with certainty, Hope ever, All is well.
