1) got to hang out with one of my bffs & do "belated birthday dinners" at ale house. i was a groomsgirl in his wedding and i always get dude advice from him. we sang show tunes at the top of our lungs while running in the rain (good morning baltimore, no one mourns the wicked, etc.). we also acted out copeland songs out of the sunroof & lost our voices to r. kelly "the world's greatest," moulin rouge "your song," and kelly clarkson "since you been gone." that mug is my dawg.
2) saw someone i met at CONNECT at ale house. said hello, relearned each other's names & said "see you at church sunday!"
3) saw valley maker at new brookland. i'm IN LOVE with austin crane music. in freaking love. it was an extra special night because tom sang amy's female vocals at full volume into my left ear. amazing. haha. got to talk to 2 good midtown friends about interesting parts of my past. oh man, funny stuff. also, i'm trying to get them to go to carowinds and ride this:
watching the first drop makes me want to throw up & cry all at the same time.
4) ate at red lobster with some fam. cheese biscuitssssssssss. ghetto deliciousness.
5) an "I Shouldn't Be Alive" marathon was on tv
6) 3 aunts & my 2 grandmothers got to come see the house for the 1st time. it was great to see them and we had a blast.
7) went to see Anberlin!!! they played all my fave songs and i was super excited. like screaming jumping up & down hands in the air excited.
8) one of the opening bands (Terrible Things) included a guy from hot rod circuit, taking back sunday & coheed. pretty dang cool
9) i got publicly made fun of for loving jesus. : ) pretty excited about that actually. "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, "A servant is not greater than his master." If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me." (John 15:18-21)
10) ate a corndog & cheese tots at sonic with some homies. best sonic radio night ever- matchbox 20 to justin bieber to michael jackson to jay sean etc. and light up spooooons!
11) went over with callie to talk to a family wearing garnet about the baseball game & found out one of the guys was freakin scott wingo!!!!! had a mini freak out sesh but we stayed over there for 10 minutes with his family. love them!
depending on weather & water levels, i may go tubing tomorrow. def going to church. hopefully going to the baseball game... and i'll be cheering extra loud for mr. wingo for sure!!! thanks, God, for such a fun weekend.
